As more than a mere accompaniment to our furniture and furnishings, the Paintings Prints & Drawings collection features a carefully selected, wide range of one-of-a-kind paintings, limited edition prints and photographs.

Paintings range from centuries’ old Chinese calligraphy scrolls to serenely detailed Tibetan thangkas to outrageous Ghanaian movie posters from the 1980s. Our collection of prints includes a large group of historic Chinese Cultural Revolution posters and hand colored engravings depicting scenes of travel on the old Silk Road. We’re perhaps best known for our vast holdings of Japanese woodblock prints with special collections of Noh Drama prints, Kuchi-E book illustrations, Kuniyoshi’s “47 Ronin” series and Yoshitoshi’s celebrated “100 Aspects of the Moon.” Many works are completely ready to hang on your wall, but we offer custom framing to your exact specifications.
