A Gift from the Gods!
Imagine an object cut off from its past, not giving a clue of how it came to be, without connection to anything that came before. It has emerged from complete isolation, a fully formed entity, its origins shrouded in mystery. What does it symbolize? What is its back story? What powers does it possess? Consider these questions and you will enter the realm of one of the most valuable and sought after objects in the entire collecting world – the Dzi bead.

This week’s New Arrival features a Dzi bead pendant. No one can really say when Dzi beads were first made or why they are decorated with “eyes.” About all that can be said with certainty is they were first found in Tibet and are considered powerful, magical talismans. Look at this pendant. Tibetans believe the eyes on its face will repel negativity and the deer on the back will attract peace and longevity. They believe the Dzi was a true gift from the gods.
