Brian Sindler

About the Artist

Brian Sindler is an award-winning plein air artist whose works embody the feeling evoked by the landscapes he paints as opposed to literal interpretations meant to replicate each leaf, trunk or bolder encountered by his eye. This is in almost direct contradiction to his formal education at the School of Representational Art, a long established French style academy devoted to the proliferation of realism.
Sindler’s works exhibit a style unique style among outdoor painters. His style has won him international recognition as well as numerous plein air competitions across the United States.
